WARDMONITOR
The ward monitor displays the several wards with the associated rooms and beds and offers a central management of the ward. Administrative tasks, just like patient transfers, patient identification, discharge or locking of beds as well as the acquisition of individual medical services can easily and quickly be done by each occupational group. Due to the close networking, entered data is available in the CliniCenter® at the relevant sites and can therefore support the workflow in an optimal way.

The view of occupancy in the CliniCenter® is a very important tool for the interdisciplinary admission, for departments that work on an elective basis and for bed managers. This module is part of the hospital information system CliniCenter®.
In the view of occupancy you can find the following information regarding:
• occupancy (also in terms of the need for help of each patient)
• vacant beds
• booked beds (planned admissions)
• blocked beds
• and a lot of further information.
A facilitation of the daily activities of the bed and occupancy management is guaranteed as all neccessary information appear at a glance per department or rather ward.
planning of occupancy (=reservation of beds)
Another stand-alone module of the CliniCenter® is the planning of occupancy. It is used for the reservation of beds – at department or ward level – for already planned stays of patients. The reservation can be made for patients who are or rather have already been treated in the hospital as well as for completely new patients. Furthermore it is possible to link other programs such as OP-documentation software and timetable via interfaces. The planning of occupancy in connection with the view of occupancy serve as a fundamental assistance to secure a stable and balanced utilized capacity of the wards.
